When I met Edmund Piper 1996 in the frame of our first common exhibition i noticed immediataly that his way of curating was much more (context-) sensitive, than dealing with the deliverance of art history.
Surely that was one reason for, that within the scope of his shows , fist in the art-club 'TERMINAL 4' and later in the 'galerie engler & piper', an openminded and inspiring atmosphere envolved that was symptomatic for the upcomming young art scene in Berlin during the turning points of the last millenium.
The fotos from this series are giving a small impression of that creative energy.
